On Sunday 20th February 2022, our Society planted a further 20 Hazel Tree saplings at the Garston Manor Allotment site. Our local councillors turned out to help and some of the Society members were there to help. We had a fabulous time in spite of the weather and we got the trees in the ground at a fair pace. Then the more serious side of the precedings. Hot tea and chocolate biscuits in the Garden Shop with a bit of merry banter added. we applied for and received a virtual plaque from the Queens Green Canopy, to commemorate her 70 years on the throne.

Ours is not an idle Society. we try to cultivate not only vegetables and fruit, but also a sense of community where everyone has the opportunity to join in and make a contribution.
