Our Society has set a date for the SCARECROW COMPETITION Saturday 20th August 2022.
Judging will take place at both Garden Shops at Garston Manor Allotments and Callowland Allotments. If your SCARECROW is fragile, our judges can come to you a few days before the competition and take photos etc. The competition is open to MEMBERS ONLY. First prize £50.00 voucher to spend in either of the Society’s Garden Shops. there is a children’s event and two winners will each receive a £25.00 voucher to spend as they wish. If you want to take part but are not yet a member, call into either of the Society’s Garden Shops and join. Simple!! Not only will that make you eligible to take part in the SCARECROW COMPETITION, it will entitle you to various seasonal ‘members only’ discounts.
The Society is a NOT-FOR-PROFIT group so what you buy is very nearly at cost price. Also, you don’t have to have an allotment to join us you can garden at home and still get the goodies.
