The society is run by a voluntary committee. There are six elected officials voted in at the AGM. Each year positions are up for election or re-election. Between AGMs the Committee may co-opt people to fill gaps or to gain from specific expertise.

 

If you are interested in joining the committee then please contact the Chairman and inform them of your interest. You may join at any time with ratification taking place later. Before making a commitment you are welcome to attend one of the meetings, to acquaint yourself. If you are interested in a specific committee post, then you will need to ensure your membership is current, join the committee, and then a trial period of being a 'Deputy' may be arranged to familiarize you with what the position involves.
